Aqua Restaurant and Bar has recently opened at JA Ocean View Hotel promising a fusion of flavour, culture and community.
Set in the bustling community of JBR, Aqua at the JA Ocean View Hotel is the newest dining and drinking spot with themed events throughout the week and a myriad of flavours.
Influenced by the way that water breaks borders and flows to connect the world, Aqua as a destination encourages guests to connect with their loved ones over shared authentic food, with outstanding hospitality and a lively service team.
There are delicious daily offerings including three live cooking stations, the cuisine calendar, and buffet themes, so there’s something for every discerning diner on all occasions.
Starting the week is the International Favourites, where guests can take their pick from flavourful chicken tandoori cooked in the kitchen’s tandoor oven, the oozy chorizo mac and cheese, or the Texas sticky BBQ beef ribs.
Meanwhile on Tuesdays includes a journey through the seven shores with their Mediterranean Mosaic consisting of traditional paella, fresh pasta, and to-die-for tiramisu.
Wednesday brings their Silk Fusion Road: From Moscow to Tokyo including yummy live sushi and a sashimi bar, authentic Peking duck, and scrumptious Singaporean Chili Crab.
Thursday is for Feasts of the Desert: Arabia’s Finest, serving up authentic chicken musakhan, Moroccan chermoula fish tagine, Saudi Arabian kabsa rice, and a huge variety of traditional desserts.
Friday evenings will be reserved for the International Seafood Showcase, where guests can soak up three hours of free-flowing drinks and enjoy the freshest catch – including Dibba Bay oysters, salt crusted salmon and a stunning seafood casserole with Italian blue mussels and crayfish.
Saturdays bring some style with the Sabor Latino Brunch, serving lively Latin-American cuisine such as Peruvian anticuchos de polloand arroz chaufa, perfect for slathering with Aji Amarillo. There’s also live entertainment and even a professional mixologist to ensure your drinks are served up to quench your thirst and aid the party atmosphere.
On one Sunday every month, the venue will also host a Family Table Brunch, complete with a kids’ corner and the best of Aqua’s cuisine for a fun, end-of-the-week, get together.
Sundays are saved for a Great Royal Roast, with beef wellington, Australian leg of lamb, classic British pies, all the trimmings and more on offer. Also one Sunday each month there will be a Family Table Brunch with a kids’ corner, plus their epic cuisine, perfect for you and the family to get together at the end of the week.
The Aqua weekend brunches are set to be the cherry on top, with creative cocktails, delicious cuisine and soulful entertainment guaranteed at the end of each week.

Aqua brunches are set to launch on October 14th at JA Ocean View Hotel JBR. Week day dining is available from 6:30pm-10:30pm from AED 189 for food only and AED 89 for kids, with beverage options available.
