A One-Month Turkish Culinary Soirée

Turkish Titans bring Anatolia to Dubai’s shores.

A sensational dining experience is set to land at the shores of Le Méridien Mina Seyahi Beach Resort & Waterpark, as Lezzet Anatolian Kitchen and the beloved Fish Beach Taverna unite for a limited-edition Turkish culinary pop-up like no other.

The stunning beach front eatery.

From Melbourne to Mina Seyahi, two of the Turkish culinary world’s most celebrated names—Chef Kemal Barut and Chef Coskun Uysal—are teaming up to craft an exclusive set menu that blends the rich, soulful heritage of Anatolia with the coastal zest of the Aegean.

Expect an elevated sofra that stirs the senses. Guests will begin their meal with a signature welcome cocktail, The Turkish Delight, a bold yet refreshing concoction of Yeni Rakı, cherry, lime, vanilla, and pomegranate. From there, the experience unfolds into a dazzling showcase of regional flavours: from smoked date butter on wood-fired pita to barrel-aged tulum cheese with chili jam, and stuffed mussels laced with cinnamon-spiced pine nut rice.

Some of the authentic Turkish dishes on offer.

The mezze lineup reads like poetry for the palate—sumac-cured kingfish with rakı-pickled honey melon, grilled calamari with almond tarator, and a show-stopping Turkish golden egg with truffle and smoked yoghurt.

And the mains? Pure theatre. Think slow-cooked wagyu köfte with smoky eggplant salad, and a decadent grilled lobster shish with lemon orzo and shaved truffle. But the true scene-stealer is Australia’s Most Expensive Kebab—a jaw-dropping dish of aged Wagyu Adana, opulently topped with caviar, bone marrow, black truffle, and edible gold.

Rounding out the meal is a nostalgic ode to Ottoman desserts: Tavuk Göğsü (chicken and milk pudding), reinvented with lemon thyme ice cream and caramel mousse—best paired with a strong Turkish coffee, of course.

Decadent desserts – best paired with Turkish coffee.

Chef Kemal Barut, the visionary behind Melbourne’s award-winning Lezzet, brings his flair for bold, fire-kissed Anatolian flavours, deeply rooted in his Turkish upbringing. He’s joined by Chef Coskun Uysal of Tulum Restaurant, known for his elegant reinterpretations of traditional Turkish fare using seasonal Australian produce.

Together, they are crafting a one-off dining affair that celebrates heritage, craftsmanship, and innovation. The pop-up is open for both lunch and dinner, offering guests the choice of a curated menu for AED 250 (food only) or AED 425 with wine and cocktail pairing.

Set against the stunning backdrop of Fish Beach Taverna’s whitewashed interiors and Aegean ambience, this is more than a meal—it’s a gastronomic journey across Turkey’s diverse regions, brought to life in the heart of Dubai.

Lezzet x Fish Beach Taverna Turkish Culinary Pop-Up for one month only – April 2025. At the Fish Beach Taverna, Le Méridien Mina Seyahi, AED 250 (food only), or AED 425 (with pairing), 12pm-4pm and 6 pm-11 pm.
