Billionaire, Taj Dubai
One of the first dinner show venues, Billionaire has also recently had a stunning refurbishment making it even more glitzy than ever. Entertainment director Montserrat (Monte) More has worked with worldwide phenomenon Cirque dul Soleil, Lío, and Pacha – the last two who are based in Ibiza. Expect razzle dazzle from incredible singers, unique dance choreography and specialised circus acts hanging from the ceiling and contorting themselves into crazy positions. They’ve even got BritaiN’S Got Talent Participants ‘Dust in the Wind’ who are performing their unique circus act ‘Adagio’. The brothers Michael and Dario Togni perform their act, Icarian Games, a traditional yet unbelievable and rare circus acrobatic discipline. Open Tuesday to Sunday from 9pm until 3am at the Taj Dubai.
Dream, Address Beach Resort
Expect lavish interiors dining, and an epic after party at this JBR based club – complete with a giant LED lit seashell in the lobby. This dinner club has the edge on traditional performers as it leverages production lighting technology to take guests on a journey of different narratives and storytelling, with the live dancers, singers and acrobats accompanying the show and often taking centre stage. Staying consistent with its luxurious aesthetic, the venue offers several dinner and drinks packages from a set menu with enchanting cocktails and other drinks. After the classical shows and musical hits from motown, broadway and other styles have played out, expect contemporary hits like “It’s Raining Men ” while guests dance around under giant umbrellas shedding glitter like rain. Don’t say we didn’t warn you. Catch the shows here from Tuesday to Sunday from 8pm until 3am.
Flashback Speakeasy, Paramount Hotel
Flash back to the 1920s and murder mystery vibes at the Paramount. Incredible vocal talents such as Claudia Patrice, Larduche and Andrea Laguna hit the stage and entertain guests with their singing and stunning themed costumes. Expect the sounds of Louis Armstrong, Ella Fitzgerald, Nina Simone and many more legendary singers, while on Thursdays they host their iconic ‘Murder in the Speakeasy’ which is a full murder mystery themed dinner and show set in the 1930s. Catch the shows from AED 299 with soft drinks, AED 380 for house beverages, and AED 550 with bubbles.
Kōyō, InterContinental Dubai Marina
Combining the magic of Japanese culture with contemporary enthralling performances, Kōyō is a party venue known for its epic stage shows. Guests can indulge in an immersive dining experience with dancers roaming around the venue, an acrobat show, giant sumo wrestlers, and drummers. The whole venue is decked out in cherry blossom, oriental themed decor, and red hued lighting giving it a special vibe. There’s also a super cool tattoo parlour and chair in the main entrance way which is perfect for your pre-dinner pics. Visit Koyo from Tuesday to Friday 6pm-1am, Saturday from 1pm-4pm and 6pm-1am, while Sunday and Monday are closed.
La Perle, Al Habtoor City
Stunning and world-renowned Cirque du Soleil has a permanent residency at Habtoor City with their iconic and enchanting performance. Expect the world’s best talent from high divers, motorbike shows (in a rotating cage of course) plus outlandish set design, lighting, and sound effects that are truly other-worldly. Buy your ticket and add a dinner at one of the six restaurants nearby, prices start at AED 404 for the bronze ticket and includes a three-course dinner at either Gonpachi, BQ, Le Patio, Babiole, World Cut Steakhouse or Il Pastaio. The show is on Tuesday til Saturday at 6:30pm or 9:30pm and start at AED 207 excluding dinner.
Papillon, The Westin
In a spot previously inhabited by Asia de Cuba, it’s now with a whole new aesthetic and a supper-club style dining option and sensual ambiance. The show itself is cabaret style with feathers and tons of sequins, and diners sit lower than the stage area for maximum impact, and there’s bright pink tiling on the bar area and glam-worthy touches throughout the venue. Slightly different from other dinner club venues with beautiful people and performances, Papillon, is a little more raw and emotive as it focuses on the artistic representation of human emotions. Catch the live performances from Tuesday to Saturday from 8pm until 3am.
PLAY Restaurant & Lounge, The H Hotel
PLAY hosts a fabulous ‘Midnight Brunch’ every Monday from 8pm until 10pm featuring live shows and enchanting performances. There’s an a la carte featuring a special Tomahawk steak that can be flame grilled at the table, starting at AED 450, including signature cocktails. Shows include live singers, incredible dancers and circus acts, and the audience are invited on the stage at the end of the night to dance with the artists. The venue is on Floor 36 of The H Hotel on Mondays from 8pm-10pm.
The Theater, Fairmont Hotel
The Theater Dubai offers ‘world-class entertainment unlike anything seen before, conceptualised by visionary music maestro, Guy Manoukian’. Talent recruited from across the globe includes dancers, singers, and aerialists flown in especially for your viewing pleasure, with a unique show that merges with the audience as the performers run through the crowd. The stage itself even runs through the audience so guests can watch the shows from all viewing points. The menu features fine dining, served alongside the show. Performances and dinner are served Tuesday to Saturday from 7pm until 3am.
Taikun, Hilton Habtoor City
Taikan is back with a bang and a whole new cast of incredible performers from singers to dancers, this is a totally unique show that serves to indulge all the senses. Enjoy music, dance and a culinary journey featuring French and pan-Asian cuisines. Quench your thirst with delicious drinks served to you while you enjoy the newest rendition of a totally theatrical dining experience. Catch all the jazz from Tuesday until Sunday from 8pm until 3am.
