True Gamers has revealed ambitious plans to establish the world’s inaugural eSports Island in Abu Dhabi, featuring a distinctive luxury hotel, cutting-edge gaming arenas for tournaments, state-of-the-art training facilities, dedicated spaces for content creation, and additional amenities. As a premier global network of eSports clubs, True Gamers aims to cultivate a vibrant ecosystem tailored to meet the evolving needs of the rapidly expanding eSports community.
True Gamers has identified the location for its groundbreaking eSports Island, set to be situated in Al Raha Creek within Al Seef, adjacent to Hope Island in Abu Dhabi. Confirmed to be named eSports Island, the project is anticipated to incur a budget exceeding 280 million USD, marking it as the pioneering initiative of its kind worldwide.
For avid gamers gearing up for tournaments, the GG Bootcamps on eSports Island will offer unparalleled preparation facilities. Featuring high-tech computers, advanced analytical tools, designated rest areas, and a balanced nutrition program, it’s the ultimate training ground. Additionally, a children’s eSports camp will nurture the next generation of gaming enthusiasts.
GG Resort will provide luxurious accommodations with 200 rooms equipped with high-performance computers, complemented by leisure facilities like a spa, pool, and pristine beach for relaxation.
The Digital Tower will house a modern business hub, offering workspaces, animation development studios, and more, catering to the needs of the digital industry.
At TG Arena, international eSports tournaments, digital exhibitions, and conferences will take centre stage. The versatile arena will adapt to various gaming genres and competition formats, featuring high-performing PCs, car simulators, console zones, and streaming areas.
CEO and co-founder of True Gamers, Anton Vasilenko, expressed confidence in the project’s potential, citing extensive market analysis of the MENA region’s eSports landscape and global industry growth.
Established in 2019, True Gamers has expanded to 124 eSports halls in the UAE and Eastern Europe. In Saudi Arabia, an agreement has been inked for 150 clubs, with an investment exceeding 45 million USD.
