Splish Splash: The Insider’s Round Up of Dubai’s Best Pool Days

As the weather gets hotter it makes sense for you to get wetter, so we’ve done the hard work for you and found the best pools days with epic views plus food and drink deals

Our Picks

Venus Beach Club

A large pool with a jacuzzi overlooking the beach, with sand under your toes and swaying palms, Venus has a little slice of everything. Inspired by ancient mythology and the Goddess Venus, you too can feel like a Queen as you recline in their loungers, shaded cabana, or take a swing in their hammock. It’s a mix of lively on the weekends and more suited for hotel guests on the weekdays, but perfect to catch up with your girlfriends over a spot of lunch and an impressive range of Italian cocktails and granitas. Points to Venus also for their handy button-controlled menu where you request drinks and food without having to catch someone’s attention.

Terra Solis

Latest pool spot that also doubles as a huge open-air festival venue, Terra Solis is created by world-renowned festival Tomorrowland, and there’s a nod to this everywhere in their decor and aesthetic, as well as hosting the actual festival in May 2023. Billed as a unique glamping site, there are truly incredible views of the unending sand dunes as well as luxury lodges for overnight stays. Terra Solis appears to be the largest pool party venue in the city – perhaps why it’s located further out of Dubai where it has access to infinite space and less noise constraints. We love the giant Dragonflies dotted around the pool (they provided some much needed shade) and they were also seen on the menu and as table napkin holders. While most people seem to visit for drinks and dips, don’t miss the food menu which features delights such as steak, ceviche, and strawberry flan.

Aura Skypool

Why not take a dip in the world’s highest 360-degree infinity pool? Not the faint hearted mind, as it’s 200 metres up! Access passes are limited by time however due to it being busy and you’ll have to fight for a space to take your best pics. You can book a pool day or lounge access which doesn’t include swimming. Address Fountain Views Downtown

One of the most iconic Instagram shots you can get, this venue has a lush pool overlooking the glittering skyline of downtown. It has a lot of shaded areas though if you want to beat the heat, as well as F&B offers with credit offered back post entry.

Drift Beach

Quaff down caviar, oysters, and bubbles at this ultra-boujee pool with private cabanas available for rent and temperature controlled water. Effortless style meets OTT luxury, as this spot is housed at Dubai’s glorious One&Only Royal Mirage.

Nikki Beach

One of Dubai’s first beach clubs and part of the globally famous Nikki Beach brand. Hosting epic parties with international DJs and incredible ladies’ day deals, Nikki Beach is a glorious pool overlooking a huge beach, and a reputation for some of the best sushi in the city.

Bla Bla

Casual fun, packed with holiday-makers, and goes on until the early hours – there’s even a slide from the first floor to ground – what more could you want? There’s also a multitude of bars and dinings options if you want to go from day to night. They offer deals on your sunbeds which are fully redeemable on food and drink.

Eva Beach House

The latest offering at sizzling-hot Palm West Beach is inspired by the bohemian charms of Tulum, this is a place to see and be seen – so get your boho beach finest on. There’s also a chic indoor restaurant with opulent fittings and drapes, making you feel as though you really aren’t in the city.

Summersalt

Exclusive and with incredible views directly underneath the Burj Al Arab, Summersalt is the perfect venue to while away the afternoon over a bottle of wine and take dips in the ice-cold waters of their pool. There’s a choice between a Peruvian or Asian restaurant, and lots of quiet corners to drift off in the sun listening to lapping waves from the nearby beach – don’t expect party vibes here as it’s a more tranquil vibe.
