Bringing you the definitive hotlist for spas, brunches, dining, sporting events, vacations and more across the city and beyond.

Get fancy with a Parisian High Tea

The Parlour Boutique has launched a stunning new high tea experience called the Parisian Summer High Tea, so if you don’t have enough leave to float off to Europe over the summer period you can at least get a taste of it here. Including two bubbly mocktails, sweet and savoury bites (a total of 15 for you and a friend), all inspired by the taste of the season. If you work in One Central Offices you can also get an additional 20% off. Available daily from the pink destination, from 8am-7pm for AED 250 for two people.

Sing & Win at Lucky Voice

Infamous karaoke spot Lucky Voice is hosting a summer competition for budding singers, where each week you can be in with a chance to showcase your skills and compete for epic prizes. There are three judges for you to show your talents too, plus a decent sized crowd, and the first place wins a whopping AED 5,000, with second place a more modest Saturday brunch for 6 people. Entry is free and it’s on every Wednesday until July 26th, from 8pm-midnight. Lucky Voice is at the Grand Millenium Barsha Heights.

Party like a Star at new Venue ICY

Boom! There’s yet another nightlife venue joining the line up of Dubai’s already spectacular scene. Popping up where infamous Cirque Le Soir used to be, the new venue ICY Dubai is billed as a ‘unique luxury nightclub experience’, with ‘out of this world entertainment.’ Spread over 8,000 square feet, it’s open Thursday-Saturday with set theme nights including house, techno, Bollywood, hip hop and RnB. It opens on July 13th from 10pm-4am, at the Fairmont Hotel Dubai.

Have a Pool Day at DRIFT Beach before its Summer Closure

One of Dubai’s ultra chic beach clubs at the plush One&Only Mirage Royal Mirage, guests only have a few days left to enjoy the resort before it closes for the summer. Famous for its unique views across the Palm and Dubai Marina, it also boasts a tasty food menu, plenty of refreshing drinks, and private cabanas for you to kick back and relax in. Sun loungers start at AED 200 on Saturdays and Sundays, and it’s open Friday-Sunday from 9am-9pm – get your summer swims in while you can.

Play Golf in the Dark

The perfect nighttime activity and good clean fun, as an alternative to partying the night away in a dark nightclub, you can instead test your golfing skills at the 3D Backlight Minigolf in JBR. Over three rooms, you can meander your way around the mini golf course which is artfully decorated with 3D, neon paintings and more. Check it out daily at Bahar Plaza in JBR, from 12pm-1am and it’s only AED 110 entry.
