Nestled within the picturesque Al Marjan Island in Ras Al Khaimah, this upcoming property is a collaborative effort between Palladium Hotel Group and the esteemed developers Al Marjan and Almal Real Estate Development. While Palladium Hotel Group boasts a rich portfolio of luxury properties worldwide, including the iconic Ushuaïa Ibiza Beach Hotel, this venture marks its debut in the international arena under the Ushuaïa Unexpected Hotels & Residences brand. With its roots in Ibiza’s vibrant hospitality scene, this new property promises to bring a touch of iconic glamour to the shores of Ras Al Khaimah.

With a bold vision and substantial investment totaling over 100 million dollars, this ambitious project is set to redefine luxury living in Ras Al Khaimah. Boasting a total of 442 hotel rooms and residential units, the property will introduce a new concept with branded residences seamlessly integrated into the existing hotel infrastructure. Guests and residents alike can anticipate a world-class experience, complete with a sophisticated beach club, a sumptuous restaurant, and an opulent infinity pool. Set against the backdrop of the Arabian Gulf, the property promises unparalleled vistas that will elevate every moment spent in this exquisite destination.
The grand expansion project is scheduled to come to fruition in 2026, marking a significant milestone for the brand. Preceding this, the transformation of the brand identity will commence at the group’s home base, starting from the end of the summer season in 2024. Playa d’en Bossa will undergo substantial renovations, with both properties receiving extensive upgrades. The revamped The Unexpected Ibiza Hotel will offer 181 rooms and suites, while the iconic Ushuaïa Ibiza Beach Hotel will feature 234 rooms and suites, ushering in a new era of luxury and sophistication.
As this new era unfolds, both loyal patrons and newcomers alike can anticipate a fusion of unparalleled luxury accommodations, elevated culinary experiences, and the signature entertainment that has come to define Ibiza. By the end of 2025, the transformation of The Ushuaïa Tower will be complete, culminating in its rebranding as The Unexpected Ibiza Hotel, symbolising a full realisation of the new brand identity.
