You know the cooler season is here when Starbucks brings back its iconic drink – now in six new flavours.
You can tell that Autumn season is finally here and the holiday season is right around the corner when Starbucks brings out its Pumpkin Spice Latte – and basic bishes everywhere can indulge in their favourite hot, sweet and spicy caffeinated beverage (we say ‘basic’ with the utmost respect to our bevvie quaffing girlies).
For a limited time only this iconic brew appears in Starbucks in certain areas around the globe, prompting a slew of memes and no doubt a spike in revenue for the coffee chain.
This year however, it’s also appearing in six exciting varieties.
Choose between the Classic Iced, Hot or Cold Crew, Double Shot Iced Shaken, Frappucino, and Cream Nitro Cold Brew.
The infamous beverage was first sold 20 years ago in North America, and despite not being too successful in the beginning, in 2014 alone Starbucks claimed to have sold 200 million in that year alone, encouraging other global chains to jump on the bandwagon.
Either way, we are just happy to kick back with our favourite beverage that also signals the start of the cooler season.
And remember not to indulge in too many, as the calorie count per whipped cream, pumpkin spice and espresso blend is a whopping 390 calories and 50g of sugar. Maybe just get one for the ‘Gram.
