Get ready people, the long weekend has been confirmed. That means more time off (yay), more staycays and vacays, more celebrations and time with family, and more importantly time to dine out in uber-city-slicker-style. Here are some of our highly recommended listings and dining offers.
ALL WEEKEND
A.O.C International Buffet, Sofitel JBR
A scrummy deal available allll weekend, dishes include ouzi to shawarmas and savoury kebabs, plus a selection of sweet desserts. On attendance to this brunch guests will also get a BOGOF for Le Grand Brunch soft package (valid until August 27th). AED 140 per person from June 28th-30th 12:30pm-3:30pm
Kayto, Jumeirah Al Naseem
Peruvian-Nikkei fare with Burj Al Arab views? Count us in! Get a three-course chilled lunch experience over Eid, featuring sharing starters, signature dishes, and a selection of desserts. Packages are AED 495 for soft drinks, AED 695 for house beverages and AED 895 for bubbly and fine grape.
Folly, Souk Madinat Jumeirah
Folly diners can enjoy a two-course set lunch menu from June 27th-30th, or three courses for AED 170, from noon until 3pm each day.
Aqaya Bakefectionery, Creek Marina
If you dine here over the long weekend you’ll get AED 300 of free pastry to indulge in. Shaped like a gift box, and made with rich raspberry coulis, marshmallow, chocolate mousse, and cocoa nib streusel. Available daily throughout Eid from 10am-midnight,
Ewaan at The Palace Downtown
Stunning Palace Downtown Hotel’s Ewaan has a gorgeous sharing lunch for the festive dates, with a whole host of Arabic and international cuisines. From AED 130 (minimum two people) from 12:30pm-3:30pm daily.
The Crossing, H Hotel
For just AED 195 (absolute bargain for this beaut of a venue), The Crossing’s spicy menu includes laccha matthi chaat, naga chilli crab sanpiau, lamb chops, creamy malaiyu, and more. Add an extra AED 145 on to your bill and get some delightful grape.
FRIDAY
Pier Chic, Jumeirah Al Qasr
Romantic sweet spot has their itsChic Lunch on Friday (1pm-2:45pm) where for AED 145 you can enjoy a starter and a main or main and dessert, or all get all three courses for AED 160. There’s the same offer on Sunday from 1pm until 2.45pm at the La Domenica Italiana, with a set menu accompanied by live Italian band, Mark Zitti e i Fratelli Coltelli for Dhs270 per person.
Asado, The Palace Hotel Downtown
Authentic Argentinian joint Asado serves up the juiciest steaks and pays tribute to other South American delicacies. With a special 3-course menu for Eid, expect delicious cuts of meat plus yummy sides, for AED 299 for a 3-course set menu and a glass of grape. This offer starts on Friday but carries on for the whole weekend.
Feast Restaurant, The Sheraton Grand
We love the variety at Feast, where diners can expect everything from crispy Mexican tacos, fajitas, guacamole, flavours from the Indian tandoors, plus tikka, curries, pizza, sushi, and more. If you don’t find something you like here we’ll be surprised! There’s also a 2-4-1 offer. Prices are AED 325 including soft drinks, AED 425 for premium beverages, and AED 600 for fine bubbly, from 7:30pm-10:30pm.
Thiptara, The Palace Hotel
If you love Thai as much as we do do you need to check out Thiptara’s special 3-course menu taking you on a culinary journey throughout the Orient, accompanied by a glass of grape. AED 299 per person, available on other days throughout the summer.
SATURDAY
Queen’s Grill, Queen Elizabeth 2 Hotel
Serving British classics in regal style, diners can expect oysters, Scottish smoked salmon, seared scallops, rib eye, whole roast leg of lamb, Yorkshire pudding, plus all the trimmings you’d expect. Desserts include banoffee pie, Platinum Jubilee trifle, plus imported British cheeses. AED 335 with soft drinks, AED 495 with house beverages, from 12:30pm-4pm.
Barfly by Buddha-Bar, Hilton the Palm Jumeirah
Dining in the sky hotspot Barfly is out to rival its contenders for the supper club favourite mantle. Sample Asian-fusion cuisine with free-flowing beverages during the new brunch, and the live dancers and fire eaters are super impressive (physiques and skills). AED 365 with soft drinks, AED 445 with house beverages, AED 545 with premium, from 7pm-11pm.
MASTI, The Dubai Edition Downtown Hotel
Masti has a glorious brunch called the Elephant Bath, and there’s two days of food and drinks from Saturday until Sunday, with epic music and friendly vibes. AED 399 for house beverages and AED 250 including soft drinks.
CLAW BBW, Hilton Palm, Jumeirah
With an all-American spread over Eid diners can also engage limitless drinks, plus a live DJ to spice things up. Only AED 199 with soft drinks, AED 299 with house beverages, and AED 399 for premium, from 12:30pm-4pm.
Jumeirah Al Qasr
Over the Eid weekend this stunning hotel is hosting its Vintage Brunch event, with masses of food from across the globe, free-flowing bevvies and a live DJ. AED 350 with soft drinks, AED 500 for mixed drinks and prosecco, and AED 600 for premium bubbles, from 1pm-4pm.
McGettigan’s Factory, Palm Jumeirah
Known for its relaxed pub vibes, great grub, and plentiful beverages, over Eid guests can enjoy live musicians and DJs over five hours, or you can do the 7-hour event including the drunch which carries on from 5pm-7pm with unlimited drinks for AED 149. The brunch is AED 199 with soft drinks, AED 499 with house beverages, and AED 99 for kids, from noon until 5pm.
Rockfish, Jumeirah Al Naseem
Stunning beachfront venue Rockfish celebrates Eid in style with a four-course menu of fresh seafood including crudo, for AED 495 for soft beverages, AED 595 with house beverages, and AED 795 including bubbly. From 1pm-3:30pm.
The Duck Hook, Dubai Hills Golf Club
Pub-grub in British style where you can enjoy a scrumptious roast with chicken, lamb, beef, and a vegan option, plus all the trimmings. AED 170 (chicken and beef), AED 135 (beef and vegan), and AED 125 (chicken). Served Saturday and Sunday from noon-9:30pm.
Wanderlust, JW Marriott Hotel
Fun, partying, drinking, food, and more drinks – that’s basically the Wanderlust vibe. Music is provided by Adam J while diners dance and browse the multitude of live cooking stations. AED 349 for men with house drinks and AED 299 for ladies, 1pm-4pm with an afterparty from 4:30pm-6pm.
SUNDAY
Eid Brunch, Koko Bay
Join beachside favourite Koko Bay for its Koko Loco brunch and feast on oysters, hold and cold appetisers, truffle mushroom arancini, prawn siu mai, and main courses like the Black Angus Striploin, or Norwegian Salmon, while you can finish sweet with Loco Almond Crumble or the Pisco Tres Leche. With sounds inspired by the gentle lapping waves of Bali, there’s a live DJ set with musical acts throughout the day. From 12-4pm AED 300 with soft drinks, AED 450 with house, and AED 550 with bubbly.
Attiko, W The Palm
Located on the 31st floor of W Dubai – Mina Seyahi with amazing views, it’s the perfect spot to dine out for Eid Al Adha. For only AED 295 per person you can get luscious sushi with either a bottle of Japanese rice-based drink or Italian bubbly grape.
