A cool one million dirhams. While the final shot remains a mystery (the teaser video hints at success), one thing’s clear—Wynn Al Marjan is well on its way to its projected 2027 completion. And honestly, it’s a smart move to get the golf out of the way now—last thing they’d want is a hole in one… of the windows.
Where Exactly is Wynn Al Marjan Island?
If you guessed Al Marjan Island, congratulations—you win this round. But for those less familiar, this man-made paradise sits at the Ajman/Sharjah end of Ras Al Khaimah, just an hour’s drive from Downtown Dubai. Made from 2.7 million sqm of reclaimed sand, it’s a network of four islands, soon to be home to Wynn Resorts’ first-ever beachfront property.
When Can We Check In?
First announced in January 2022, Wynn Al Marjan Island is set to welcome guests in early 2027. According to Wynn Resorts CEO Craig Billings, construction is in full swing, and they’re betting big on this being a “must-see” tourism hotspot.

On October 4, Wynn Resorts made it official: they’ve secured the UAE’s first commercial gaming operator’s license. The GCGRA’s stamp of approval means the resort will feature a casino—bigger, according to Billings, than Wynn Las Vegas. The UAE’s gaming scene just hit the jackpot.
Who’s Running the Show?
Big names are steering this billion-dollar ship. Former Atlantis Dubai managing director Tom Roelens was appointed COO in September 2024, alongside President Max Tappeiner and EVP David Patent.
How Big Will Wynn Al Marjan Island Be?
In a word? Massive. Expect a 300-meter tower rising above the Arabian Gulf—taller than Palm Jumeirah’s Palm Tower. Inside, a sprawling playground awaits with 1,542 rooms and suites plus 22 private villas.
What’s the Price Tag?
The estimated cost? A casual $3.9 billion (AED 14.32 billion). No small change, but then again, Wynn never does anything halfway.
