Expect traditional pub grub with Brit classics plus an epic 7-hour happy hour.
JLT has been the pinnacle for bustling coffee shops, beauty spas, and casual yet stylish eateries for many years, and now they’re adding a Brit pub-style venue to their plethora of other dining options. This new watering hole is called The Black Sheep, and offers your favourite pints on tap to authentic British classics.
It’s taken the spot where Le Petit Belge used to be at the Pullman Hotel, and has ground floor dining plus a hops garden, which is sure to be a hit with thirsty locals. It’s open seven days a week and offers a cosy and welcoming vibe, perfect for post-work drinks or an afternoon of smashing grub. The jewel in their crown though has to be the daily happy hour, which isn’t really an house, as it starts at midday and finishes at 7pm – if you’re still standing by then!
Otherwise kick back in their Chesterfield-style sofas and enjoy their marvellous Sunday roast with the whole family, or get a G&T in the garden while you watch the sun go down and dine on chicken liver pate, halloumi bites, and lobster prawn salad, and mains such as hops-battered haddock with chips, chicken schnitzel with mustard mash, lamb Rogan josh, or pie of the day. As the menu is curated by a British head chef, we have high hopes for the results. There;s also homemade donuts with Nutella, delightful Eton Mess, and Bramley apple crumble for dessert, plus bar snacks like Scotch Eggs, crisps, and sausage rolls.
The venue is also planning live music and to host major sporting events on their big screens. Open daily from noon until 2am – opening soon at The Pullman Hotel, JLT.
