Rain, Rain, Don’t Go Away!

This week’s weather forecast brings a chance of rain and fog across the Emirates.

Guess what, weather enthusiasts? Brace yourselves, because it looks like we’re in for a treat. According to the weather wizards over at the National Center of Meteorology (NCM), the upcoming week is shaping up to be generally fair and breezy, with a sprinkle of clouds here and there.

Hold on to your umbrellas, because from Thursday night to Saturday, we might just be dancing in the rain. That’s right, rain showers are forecasted to grace the eastern, northern, and western areas. Cue the happy dance for all the pluviophiles out there!  Keep those eyes on the skies, and stay tuned for more updates from the weather squad.

As we coast through the week, there’s a gentle, gradual drop in temperatures making itself known. If you’re in Abu Dhabi, get ready for Friday to bring the coolest vibes with a low of 23°C. Meanwhile, over in the vibrant city of Dubai, temperatures might be between 24 to 25°C.

And hey, let’s not leave out Sharjah, Umm Al Quwain, and Fujairah – they’re joining the ‘cool’ party too, with temperatures potentially dipping down to a cosy 23°C. So, if you’re contemplating that extra layer, you’re right on track.

The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) also says there’s a chance of fog or mist formation over internal areas on Wednesday and Thursday. So, if you’re hitting the road, drive safely, maintain a good distance, follow speed limits, stay in your lane, and resist the urge to turn on those hazard lights.

Wednesday is also bringing a shift in wind speed, upgrading from light/moderate to strong at times over the seas. This change is likely to kick up some dust and sand, making it a bit hazy.

So, whether it’s a bit of rain or a sandy breeze, be prepared and stay safe out there!
