Visit Dubai Design Week

Dubai Design District, otherwise known as d3 will be vibrantly busy with the city’s well known and budding artists on the scene from Tuesday until Sunday. There are free workshops, pop-ups, talks and design experiences, with a market packed with Artisanal goods for sale and chances to browse and embrace your artistic temperament. There are also lots of trendy dining spots if you want to make a day of it. Entry is free.

Enjoy a Business Lunch on The Terrace at Eugène Eugène  

Newly opened French brasserie at Kempinski has announced their terrace is open for the winter months and they’ve also launched a delightful new Business Lunch menu, priced at a very reasonable AED 100. Savour the green oasis and fresh air while you dine on 2 or three courses, weekdays from 12pm-3pm.

Celebrate SUSHI SAMBAS 2 Year Anniversary

The Peruvian-Japanese fusion restaurant with some of the best views of Palm Jumeirah, is offering a stunning a la carte menu between the 6th-8th November to celebrate their anniversary. Sample the ‘Four Hands’ 12-course dinner menu on the 9th, followed by a Ceviche Masterclass on the 10th. On the 9th you can also meet Culinary Director Chef Kyung Soo Moon and Chef José Luis Chavez. Prices are AED 849 for the ‘Four Hands’ dinner and AED 749 for the Masterclass which includes a 3-course lunch.

Watch Incredible Ballet Legends at Dubai Opera

Legendary dancer Rudolf Nureyev will be celebrated by ballerinas from across the globe in front of a live audience. There will be key pieces from his illustrious career which spanned from Russia to the West. Introducing the show will be a video by Ralph Finnes, who played the dancer in the movie The White Crow. Tickets from AED 390 on the 9th of Nov at 8pm.

Dance to Trance Classics at the Courtyard by Marriott

If you loved the era of early 2000’s trance then this nostalgic event is for you. Hosted by DJs Rossi, Jay Stewart and Dave Lee, they’re putting on an epic trance night filled with all the classics. It’s only AED 50 to enter and that comes with one free drink. On Friday Nov 10th from 8pm-late at Oak Live Bar in Al Barsha.

Get Down and Dirty at Tough Mudder

Back in Dubai at the Jebel Ali Racecourse, Tough Mudder is an epic outdoor obstacle course promising to challenge people’s physical and mental strength. Splash about in the mud, sand and water as you run over the 10k course and leap and scramble over obstacles, either as a team or individually. There’s currently a 15% discount on the remaining tickets, which are AED 260 for the 10k course and AED 210 for the adult 5k course, and only AED 110 for the Tough Mudder Kids on 11th and 12th of November.
