Motorists can enjoy complimentary parking across the city during the holiday.
Dubai motorists, we’ve got good news for ya; you can look forward to free public parking during the upcoming Eid Al Fitr holiday, according to an announcement from the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA).

More residents are scheduled to be in the UAE during the Eid period this year.
The authority confirmed that all paid public parking zones across the city will be free of charge from Shawwal 1 to Shawwal 3, which corresponds to Thursday March 19 until Saturday March 21, over the Eid Al Fitr period.
During this time, drivers will be able to park in public spaces without paying the usual fees. However, multi-storey parking facilities will continue to operate with regular charges in place. With so many plans changed recently and more people remaining in the UAE for Eid, this is good news.

The holiday announcement comes as the UAE prepares for a four-day Eid Al Fitr weekend, with celebrations expected to run until Sunday March 22.
Motorists planning to travel around the city are advised to check the RTA website and official transport updates, as operating hours for the Dubai Metro and other public transport services may be adjusted during the public holiday, and follow us for more updates.
Eid Al Fitr marks the beginning of the Islamic month of Shawwal and celebrates the end of Ramadan, the holy month of fasting and prayer observed by Muslims around the world.
