Jumeirah’s stunning Saadiyat Island Resort has planned a spectacular series of events to ensure guests ring in 2023 with the perfect party locations. Whether you’re partying on their exclusive boardwalk under the stars or indulging in their opulent White Buffet, an Arabic affair at TEAN, or an Italian feast at poolside venue Mare Mare – you’ll have a truly unique and unforgettable party.
The best place to watch the superb fireworks display is their party on the boardwalk from 11pm until 2am, including a cash bar on selected house beverages and nibbles. The boardwalk is also open late and perfect for you to stroll over to for an after party, after enjoying a dinner or drinks at one of the hotel’s other options.
If you’re looking for something fanciful, their White Buffet promises and evening of whimsical luxury. An indulgent buffet of the hotel’s finest food with a vibrant ambiance, the perfect spot for you to ring in the New Year and is suitable for friends and all the family. White is a contemporary and sustainably designed restaurant that offers a chic setting and a party atmosphere, with live cooking stations and plenty of flair and food ranging from Arabic to Asian and International. From 8pm until midnight the package is AED 980 with premium bubbly, AED 880 with house beverages, AED 780 with soft beverages and AED 390 for kids aged 6-11 while juniors below aged 5 dine free of charge.
Meanwhile over at relaxed Italian restaurant Mare Mare (which means “sea” in Italian), focused on your favourite coastal culinary dishes, combines poolside al fresco dining with a casual vibe and a great spot to watch the fireworks. From 8pm until midnight you can enjoy a premium bubbly package for AED 980, with house beverages for AED 880, soft package for AED 780 and AED 390 for kids aged 6-11.
A more regionally suitable dining offer is available over at Tean, their on-site Arabic restaurant famous for its spiced meats and seafood dishes cooked in traditional Levantine fashion. Also promising sweeping views of the Arabian Gulf, the NYE meal promises a feast of grilled meats, seafood, and salad. The ambiance here is tasteful, modern, and suitably elegant. You can choose from their a la carte menu which is as imaginative as it is diverse and is accompanied by live entertainment. There’s a minimum spend of AED 500 per adult and AED 190 per child.
If you have a head for heights don’t miss The Lounge, the hotel’s awe-inspiring rooftop bar with dramatic views of the sea and the sprawling grounds of the entire hotel. Despite being on the fifth floor, which is relatively low for a rooftop venue, there’s an unobstructed view across lush waters of their multiple infinity pools and right out across the undulating waves of the sea. The outdoor setting also promises shisha and a sea breeze, while indoors is sleek and luxurious, synonymous with what we’ve come to expect from this hotel. From 8pm until 2am, guests can enjoy gourmet cuisine and dining options from their special NYE menu, with a nod to European themes, and an array of your favourite beverages. The premium bubbly package is AED 780, house beverages is AED 680, and the soft beverage option is AED 605.
