A Refined Taste Of Ramadan at MIMI Kakushi’s Elegant Iftar Experience

As the sun sets over Dubai, the city’s culinary landscape transforms with the arrival of Iftar—a time for reflection, togetherness, and exceptional dining. This Ramadan, Mimi Kakushi presents an Iftar that transcends the ordinary, offering an elegant set menu that infuses traditional flavors with the refined artistry of Japanese cuisine.

Nestled within the luxurious Four Seasons Resort Dubai at Jumeirah Beach, Mimi Kakushi transports guests to the roaring 1920s Osaka, a time when modernism fused with timeless tradition. The ambiance is infused with the vibrant energy of a bygone era, where jazz filled the air, and the streets buzzed with a unique blend of eastern and western influences. This immersive journey pays homage to the Mavo movement, a radical, avant-garde artistic movement that challenged societal norms during the 1920s.

The set menu unfolds as a thoughtfully curated journey through bold flavors and delicate textures. It begins with Truffle Miso Shiru, a fragrant and umami-rich miso soup complemented by mizuna and spring onion. Accompanying it is a trio of White Kimchi, Daikon, and Green Beans, alongside Edamame Hummus with Grilled Kiri Mochi, blending Japanese precision with Middle Eastern familiarity.

The second course elevates the experience with a Spinach Salad dressed in a spicy black sesame sauce, crisp lotus, and garlic chips, followed by Boneless Chicken Wings, enhanced with citrus salt and mirin. A Chef’s Selection of Nigiri, featuring Ebi Truffle, Wagyu, and Unagi, brings together delicate seafood, rich beef, and perfectly seasoned rice—a testament to the restaurant’s commitment to culinary excellence.

For the main course, diners are invited to select from three distinct yet equally captivating dishes: Grilled Sea Bream, highlighted by shiso herb sauce and ponzu; Lamb Backstrap, marinated in shio koji and paired with fresh tomato; or Slow-Cooked Beef Short Ribs, served with baby gem and hojiso. To complete the meal, Steamed Rice and Potato with Aka Miso and Green Yuzu Kosho add a comforting touch.

A sweet conclusion awaits in the form of the Date-Inspired Mont-Blanc, a dessert that honors Ramadan’s most cherished ingredient while delivering a sophisticated and indulgent finale.

Available daily from 6pm to 8pm throughout Ramadan, this exclusive set menu, priced at 290 AED per person, is designed for those who seek an Iftar experience that seamlessly merges tradition with modern refinement.Reservations & Details:
