Dubai’s Next Frontier: A Moonshot in the MakingAll the tea about the Moon coming to the UAE!

Dubai has never been one to play by the rules—especially when it comes to engineering. If there’s a way to defy physics, rewrite construction norms, or turn a wild idea into a world record, this city will find it. Need an ultra-luxury skyscraper that twists into the clouds? Done. A shopping mall with an indoor ski slope—in the desert? Naturally. An artificial archipelago just for fun? Why stop at one when you can have three?
And now, Dubai might just outdo itself with a project that’s truly out of this world.

Welcome to Moon Dubai
Imagine a hotel that doesn’t just offer a luxury stay—it gives you the full moon landing experience. That’s the $5 billion vision behind Moon Dubai, a towering, 300-metre-high resort from Moon World Resorts Inc. It’s basically a mini lunar colony, complete with:
- A 4,000-room hotel
- A 10,000-seat arena
- Fine dining restaurants & a spa
- A space-age illumination show
- A full-blown ‘lunar colony’ simulation—because why settle for Earth when you can pretend you went to the moon?
Intergalactic features meets incredible architecture.
But… is it actually happening?
Not yet. Right now, it’s still in the “what if?” stage. The proposed location? The long-abandoned Dubai Pearl site, right at the base of Palm Jumeirah. Other potential spots include somewhere near Burj Khalifa—though the details are as fuzzy as a low-res moon landing broadcast.
And Dubai isn’t the only place with lunar ambitions. Moon World Resorts has teased similar projects in the USA, China, India, Spain, and Brazil.
For now, we wait and see if this moonshot becomes a reality—or just another Dubai fever dream.
