Party at Newly Reopened Summersalt Beach
The reopening of Dubai’s beach clubs is a sure sign that summer is on the way out, and Summersalt at Jumeirah Al Naseem’s stunning beachfront property is a blend of luxury and glamour, plus Latin American flavours and fresh seafood on their brand new menu. Choose from Salmon Aburi with Yuzu Chives, Sea Bass with Shiso Salsa, or Canadian Lobster with Unagi, washed down with a signature cocktail. Ladies have a special offer also this September with a day pass Monday-Thursday for AED 250, and other day passes (for men and other days) are AED 800 with AED 400 F&B credit or AED 500 (non-redeemable). Take a Scenic Ferry Ride to Sharjah
There’s a new way to travel between Dubai and Sharjah which means you beat the traffic as you can go via the new ferry service. Running eight journeys per day from Monday to Thursday, plus six trips from Friday to Sunday with a changeable schedule. The service starts at Al Ghubaiba Marine Station in Dubai and the Aquarium Marine Station in Sharjah, and takes a swift 35 minutes from door to door. Tickets are AED 15 for silver class, AED 25 for gold class, and kids under five go free. Check out the RTA website for more information.
Watch the Iconic Ballet Swan Lake
Tchaikovsky’s classic ballet will be performed by the Hungarian National Ballet from September 8th to September 10th. Watch the incredible dancers twirl and spin as they tell the story of the good swan and the evil swan, both played by the prima ballerina, the story of which has captivated audiences around the globe since 1877. Get tickets from AED 300 at Dubai Opera from the 8th-10th of September.
Enjoy a Noughties Concert at Coca-Cola Arena
Bringing back some of the classic hits from the noughties are Jay Sean, Manj Musik, and Raghav, who are performing at a special concert on Saturday 9th September. Hit up the city’s biggest music venue for some ‘Indie Vibes’ and catch all the hits from the noughties onwards. Tickets are from AED 195 and the concert starts at 8pm.
Indulge in ‘Lobster Fest’ at the Radisson Blu Deira Creek
The Fish Market at Radisson Blu in Deira has just launched their new food festival that celebrates their best loved dishes – with the other being anything but shell-fish – it includes a selection of lobster provenance and preparation style. Choose between Omani and Canadian catch, or prepared dishes such as lobster ceviche with sweet ginger emulsion, or rich bisque drenched risotto. Enjoy sweeping creek views as you feast on the finest seafood, served daily between 12:30pm-11:30pm.
