Every season in Dubai has its signature vibe, and winter and spring are all about beach clubs.
While new spots pop up year-round, this is the prime time for beach clubs to shine. And let’s face it, no one does beach like Dubai.
In the past year, we’ve seen a wave of new beach clubs, from Tagomago to Terra Solis, and all the hot spots along Palm West Beach.
Here are the latest beach clubs set to make a splash in Dubai this year…
- Casa Amour, Mandarin Oriental Dubai
Casa Amor is slated to debut at Mandarin Oriental Jumeirah, Dubai in October 2024, offering a Mediterranean-inspired dining experience. Originating from one of the French Riviera’s most exclusive beach clubs, Casa Amor promises a vibrant atmosphere with great music and a chic beach setting. The menu features a fusion of South of France flavours with hints of Latin influence, emphasising sharing plates. Inspired by Tulum, the ambiance will be lively and relaxed. Additionally, guests can enjoy a world-class bar serving premium drinks and signature cocktails crafted by skilled mixologists.
- Gigi Rigolatto, La Mer
Coming in 2025 to La Mer’s J1 Beach is Gigi Rigolatto, a renowned beach club hailing from St. Tropez. This exciting addition will feature expansive spaces including two terraces, a garden, a bar, a swimming pool, a kids’ circus, and a wellness area. With direct access to one of Jumeirah’s most picturesque beaches, Gigi Rigolatto promises to be a standout destination in Dubai’s beach scene. Anticipate a menu inspired by Tuscany, offering French Mediterranean cuisine in an inviting outdoor Mediterranean setting.
- La Baia, La Mer
Coming soon to J1 Beach at La Mer is La Baia, an upscale Italian restaurant bringing the flavours of the Amalfi Coast to Dubai. Originating from Manhattan, this will be La Baia’s second-ever location, promising an ambiance that is both understated and elegant. Guests can look forward to indoor and al fresco dining options, complemented by panoramic sea views and a private beach area complete with sunbeds. With its beach-club-inspired dining concept, La Baia is set to become a must-visit destination for seaside dining enthusiasts in Dubai.
- Sakhalin, La Mer
Coming soon to J1 Beach at La Mer, Sakhalin will blend Mediterranean and Asian culinary influences to offer a unique ‘MediterrAsian’ dining experience. Executive chef Alexey Kogay will curate a menu featuring innovative dishes such as the goldfish roll and Sakhalin tiramisu. The venue will boast a beach-view terrace and a central fountain, surrounded by an illuminated roof installation crafted from shimmering light metal casts. With beach chaises lining the shoreline, Sakhalin promises to be an ideal destination for a relaxing day by the sea.
- Sirene Beach by Gaia
Yet another new venue located at J1 Beach, Sirene Beach by Gaia, envisioned by chef Izu Ani and Evgeny Kuzin, is poised to introduce their acclaimed Greek-Mediterranean concept from DIFC to the shoreline. Expect a luxurious beachside experience featuring an exclusive menu crafted by the Gaia culinary team. The ambiance will reflect a modern, all-white aesthetic inspired by the Aegean, complemented by captivating live entertainment to enhance the dining experience.
- Zuma Beachhouse, La Mer Beach
Zuma Dubai, one of the city’s top restaurants, is set to expand with a new beachside venue in Dubai by 2025. Zuma Dubai Beachhouse will grace La Mer, neighbouring the upcoming Gran Melia Dubai hotel and offering stunning views of Port de La Mer marina. The venue will boast a stylish pool area with plush day beds, accompanied by a resident DJ spinning tunes all day long. Guests can also unwind in a lounge and bar overlooking the sea, complete with access to a private beach. Expect Zuma’s signature creative cocktails and an izakaya-style menu, reminiscent of its renowned offerings at Zuma Dubai. Perhaps mini miso black cod will make an appearance?
