The days are over when Ramadan sent the city to sleep – now there’s tons of offers from deluxe to wallet-friendly dining, with traditional Arabic and international cuisine, and even spa and fitness offers for you to enjoy during the holy month.

Jumeirah Saadiyat Island Resort, Saadiyat Island

Saadiyat Island is Abu Dhabi’s premier location, and the Saadiyat Island Resort is known for its eco-friendly luxury and pristine white sandy shores. Their Iftar line up includes a buffet at Sama Terrace, at the Lounge, from sunset until 8pm for AED 238 per person including Ramadan beverages. There’s also a Banquet Iftar buffet for only AED 230 with the same timings. If you want to bring the family, check out TEAN for only AED 198 per person, but if you want something intimate you can select an In-Room set menu Iftar from AED 147 per person. Suhoor’s start on Sama Terrace from 8pm and go on until 1:30am, featuring an a la carte menu with Moroccan tea and shisha, and guests can enjoy the Tailor Made Banquet Suhoor for AED 230. JA The Resort 

First up is JA’s 81 Restaurant with a Middle Eastern spread of hot and cold mezze, mandi and ouzi, plus sweet endings. This is best enjoyed on their terrace overlooking the stunning grounds, served from sunset until 10pm for AED 199 per adult and kids 6-12 eat for AED 99. For a unique bedouin on the beach experience, Anchor has a custom fire pit, perfect for slow-roasting a whole lamb or BBQing other meats. There’s also rice, salad, hot and cold mezze, drinks, and you can finish the evening with Arabic coffee and sweets. This offer is AED 550 per person for a minimum of 10 guests and advance booking is recommended, served from sunset until 11pm. Finally, Indian favourite Kinara, run by Michelin Star chef Vikas Khanna, has curated a family sharing style menu with dishes like Kinara roti, and Sesame Crusted Kofka, with Arabic inspired desserts from Saffron Rose Pudding to Assorted Baklava. Offering up something a little different, you can collect a gloriously stocked LDC Picnic Basket filled with freshly baked goods, dates, hummus, chicken butter puffs, kale salad, avo toast, pastries, apricot cake with crème anglaise, and pepperoni pizza pockets. Perfect for those who don’t want the hassle of cooking, available with 24 hours advance booking priced at AED 360.

Roberto’s, DIFC

DIFC’s favourite Italian serves a lavish spread with stunning views. Get a main course choice, from Pan-Seared Seabass with Fregola Pasta, saffron, and Green Peas, or the Chargrilled Lamb Loin with pistachio, red onion, and potato mash. Available for AED 290 per person from sunset until 8:30pm.

LPM Restaurant & Bar, Dubai & Abu Dhabi

Break your fast in surroundings of pure French chic and indulge in a four-course feast with soup, dates, shared starters, plus a choice of main, dessert, and sides. A big fave is heir Burrata with Cherry Tomatoes and Basil, Warm Prawns with Olive Oil, Butter Bean Dip, Quinoa Crisps, Marinated Lamb with Aubergine Caviar and Pine Nuts. Basco Dubai, Omniyat Hotel

Hotel Cartagena, JW Marriott Hotel

Rich and vibrant, Hotel Cartagena has a unique twist to their Iftar, with a three-course spread featuring Lamb Chuleton or Pescado a la Plancha, with Yucca fries and Coconut Rice. Their dessert platter is totally drool-worthy, and you also get two mocktails – all from only AED 250 per person from sunset-10pm.

Bacchanal, Caesar’s Palace

With a mix of Indian, Middle Eastern, and international cuisine, across live cooking stations, with mezze, salad, and favourites like Ouzi, plus desserts and Ramdan beverages, there’s something for everyone with stunning poolside views. Enjoy shisha and traditional oud music for only AED 250 with soft beverages and juices, and AED 165 BOGOF on shisha, from sunset until 7:30pm daily except Saturdays.

Piatti by the Beach, Raffles the Palm Jumeirah

Elevated Italian fare by the beach at Piatti, inspired by the south coast, packed full of classics such as the Burrata with tomatoes and Polpettine al Sugo, Calamari, and Tiramisu. The Iftar menu includes mocktails and soft drinks, for AED 300 per person.

Bull & Bear, Waldorf Astoria DIFC

Brunch spot Bull and Bear is serving up an Iftar feast at their award-winning restaurant, featuring a la carte selection of Josper Grilled Flatbread with Dips, Red Lentil Soup, Lamb Melanzane, and Cheese Kunafa, Carrot Sliced Baklava, and Sticky Toffee. From sunset until 8:30pm AED 245 per person. 

Le Jardin, Raffles the Palm Jumeirah

Reminiscent of a sprawling ornate French palace, Jardin offers al fresco dining on their terrace, or indoor dining, accompanied by oud players and 24-carat gold leaf details – pure luxury. The menu includes authentic Arabic cuisine such as Lamb Ouzi, Vegetable Tagine, and of course Umm Ali, for only AED 235 per person. 

Iftar & Suhoor at Hayal, St. Regis Downtown Dubai

Sumptuous newbie Turkish restaurant Hayal is serving up all sharing-style options to feast on, from starters, grilled mains, hot and cold mezze, and succulent desserts. Tuck into Sourdough Pide with Sucuk, homemade Shanklish with watermelon salad, and a yummy Chocolate Baklava, plus a whole corner dedicated to freshly baked pastries. Its casual yet stylish Iftar offer is priced at AED 99 per person. The Suhoor menu features an array of their much-loved dishes including Menemen, Halloumi, Mezze with dips, Turkish cold cuts, cheese, and vegetable crudites with jam. The Suhoor is served from midnight until 4am, and comprises a sharing style menu, AED 189 for two people.

Kitchen6, JW Marriott Marquis

With a diverse range of buffet options and live cooking stations, enjoy traditional dishes such as Mixed Grill, Shish Tawook, and hot and cold Mezze, with sweet endings like Kunafa, Baklava, and Umm Ali. AED 215 per person from sunset onwards. 

Kalian, Raffles the Palm Jumeirah

Stylish with stunning views, Kalian lounge has an incredible Iftar with mouth-watering sweets, such as Cuore caldo al Pistacchio – lava cake with ice cream, plus chocolate ganache, or ricotta with chocolate and candidate orange. Mocktails and soft drinks are also included for AED 165 per person. 

Counter Culture Cafe, Dubai Marriott Harbour

Enjoy a quaint cafe culture vibe with delicacies such as hot and cold Mezze, Chicken Kebabs, and desserts like Umm Ali, with refreshing Arabic juices, for only AED 195 per person from sunset to 9pm.

Hutong, DIFC

The menu includes Chicken Stir-Fry in Truffle Sauce and Roasted Peking Duck with Pancakes. Choose from a soup and a range of starters, mains, and sides, and for dessert enjoy traditional Date Pudding. Only AED 198 per person from 6:30-7:30pm.

The Lounge, Caesar’s Palace

Fusing Moroccan and Lebanese cuisine, this family-friendly Iftar and Suhoor features an array of mezze and savoury tagines in a beautiful outdoor setting. Priced at AED 200 with a set menu for private Iftars and AED 165 for private Suhoor, daily from sunset until 1am.

The Artisan, Waldorf Astoria DIFC

The Artisan has a lush plethora of platters (see what we did there?) including Datteri, Tarallli, Parmigiano Reggiano, which is a mix of dates with Apulian Taralli and Parmigiano Reggiano chunks – yummy! Table service is only AED 165 per person and a well-priced offer to break you fast.

Rang Mahal, JW Marriott Marquis

Award-winning Rang Mahal offers a delightful Iftar with an Indian twist. Enjoy sharing platters in their vibrant indoor space or al fresco terrace, with dishes including Lamb Shorba, Lamb Shanks with Kashmiri Chili, Lentil Broth with garlic, fenugreek, and lime. AED 225 per person from sunset to closing.

Time Out Market, Souk Al Bahar

Casual dining favourite Time Out Market has 17 restaurant concepts, including Masti, Fulvio’s, Boon Coffee, The Lighthouse, and Pickl. Each one has their own special Iftar menu with dining options, plus Ramadan decorations and traditional musicians including oud and qanan players. 

Tabu, St. Regis Downtown Dubai

Known for their Instagram-worthy views, Tabu is also hosting a lucious Suhoor from 10pm-2am in their special tent, where guests can choose from a la carte, shisha, and festive ambiance. Munch on salty Edamame, Premium Nuts with Wasabi Powder, Miso Soup with Tofu, Chocolate Dates, Labneh, Smoked Eggplant, Lamb Chops, and their signature Vegan Tres Leches. Les Cuisines, Sofitel Downtown Dubai

This is the second edition of the well received Ibn Battuta Iftar, with dishes from North Africa, Turkey, Iran, India, Sri Lanka, and even South East Asia. The lavish buffet reflects the history of Ibn Battuta and his incredible life. Served from sunset until 10pm including drinks from AED 250 per person, while kids 7-12 eat for AED 125, and kids under 6 dine free of charge.

Wallet-Friendly Snacks

Ergo Bar & Restaurant, Dubai EDITION Hotel

Their Iftar selection features coffee, dates, two soulful plates e.g. Mushrooms and Parmesan tart or the Beef Tartar, plus petits toasts with one mocktail. Available from sunset until 9pm for only AED 145 per person.

Nujoom Iftar, Sofitel Downtown

A poolside Iftar “under the stars”, reminiscent of a glittering Arabic souk, guests can feast on delicacies inspired by Istanbul, Marrakesh and Persia. Perfect for couples and families who want to experience truly authentic cuisine. Served from sunset until late, AED 145 per adult while kids ages 7-12 enjoy for AED 70, and kids under 6 eat free. 

Movenpick Resort, Al Marjan Island

Served in their stunning ballroom, Movenpick are hosting an Iftar buffet and Suhoor set menu, promising to capture all the magic of the holy month. The buffet will be Arabic, Emirati, and international cuisine, plus there’s an oud player and shisha on the terrace.
