Go from Barbie to Carbie at Cafe 302
Head over to the Al Maha Arjaan by Rotana on Hamdan Street in Abu Dhabi where Cafe 302 is serving up a special Barbie Combo meal for AED 75. In this super cute and secluded cafe you can enjoy a colourful and health conscious quinoa burger with fries, salad, and a pink strawberry (of course) milkshake. There’s also a ton of other yummy dishes on the menu from breakfasts, lunches and dinners.
Feel Bountiful at Bounty Beets, Mina Seyhai
Known for its breakfasts, vegan options, decadent outdoor garden area where morning yoga is often hosted, as well as their iconic telephone wall (perfect for trendy pics), Bounty Beets is one of Dubai’s OG on-trend venues. Their breakfast menu includes unlimited select items plus tea, coffee or juices – just make sure you get your reservation in as it gets packed out in advance. While not as OTT as some of the other venues, the ‘Hello, Beautiful’ media and telephone wall more than make up for it.
Barbie vibes at Vibe Cafe, DIFC & Al Wasl
One of our favourite spots and a headed up by a female founder, Vibe UAE combines healthy food with a quaint and creative aesthetic. Expect cocktail trees, neon signs, and lashings of pink decor. On the menu there’s some tasty brekkie items, all-day dining, plus vegan options, and the DIFC branch has a licence so don’t miss out on the crazy cocktails, with happy being daily between 4-7pm.
Step into Barbie-world at EL&N’s Cafe in Yas Bay
If you’re a barbie girl looking for a barbie world – this cafe has the pink aesthetic to a T. The ultra-cute cafe brand is known around the world for its incredible interior and exterior design that has you posing up a storm for your social media snaps, and their glorious high end mix of cakes and pastries are equally gram-worthy. Also on offer are shakes, teas, coffees, and it’s impossible to miss as it’s next door to the Etihad arena – plus it’s bright pink and sparkly. Open daily 10am-12am in Abu Dhabi or pop to the equally fabulous Dubai version located in DIFC.
Indulge in Barbie-tastic Cakes at Palm’s Cafe
Also wildly popular with influencers and the social media savvy, Palm’s Cafe in Abu Dhabi appeals to the perfect doll inside you (jokes) but will make you feel like the perfect Barbie waiting for her Ken. From the pink welcome sign to the cups, tablecloths, and even the pasta, the vibe here suits your craving for the blockbuster movie. Open daily till 11pm.
Get your Sparkle on at Saya Brasserie
Fashionable and chic, with an incredible ceiling packed full of hanging pink florals, neon signs, and bright pink sofas and chairs, it’s hard to believe Saya wasn’t created with our favourite doll in mind. Our favourite spot is the love hearts media wall with flamingos – the perfect spot for a snap. The cafe with its cakes, casual dining, and pink decor has proved so popular there are new venues from the original City Walk location including Al Wasl, Dubai Hills, and Nakheel Mall.
Upscale Barbie’s are Entertained at Flamingo Room
Created by iconic restaurateur Tasha, Flamingo Room has its own stunning and unique aesthetic, perfect for Dubai barbies who want to take their girl squad out to a glam venue. The pink velvet chairs are daringly offset by white flower garlands and the occasional animal print, with a luxe golden shell design on the walls. The beautiful venue has service to match, and as a bonus it’s fully licensed so you can enjoy your mimosas with breakfast or a refreshing cocktail later in the day. Open daily from midday until 4pm and 7pm-1am at Jumeirah Al Naseem.
