Cucina’s Weekend Summer Breakfast Club: A Decadent Morning Affair on Palm West Beach

As the mercury rises and the city seeks solace in shaded elegance, Cucina, the beloved Italian trattoria nestled within the Palm West Beach, introduces its Weekend Summer Breakfast Club – a culinary escapade designed to transform your leisurely mornings into a symphony of flavours and conviviality.

A Morning Feast, Italian Style

Launched at the end of May and running every Saturday and Sunday from 8 AM to noon through September, this all-you-can-eat breakfast experience is priced at AED 120 per person. For those inclined to elevate their morning ritual, a two-hour free-flow of Bloody Marys and Mimosas is available for an additional AED 150, while a selection of juices, coffee, and soft drinks can be enjoyed for AED 50. A pork menu supplement is also on offer for AED 50, catering to those who appreciate a heartier start to their day.

A Menu Curated by Culinary Artistry

At the heart of this breakfast club is a menu meticulously crafted by Chef Marco Deriu, renowned for his innovative interpretations of Italian classics. The offerings are designed to be shared and savoured, encouraging guests to linger over each dish.

Highlights include the Shakshuka All’Italiana, where poached eggs nestle into warm pizza dough, accompanied by slow-cooked borlotti beans, tomato sauce, parmesan, and fresh basil. The Pork Rib Benedict offers a rich twist with tender pulled pork, poached eggs, and aged parmesan supplanting the traditional hollandaise.

For those seeking a more classic spread, the Italian Big Breakfast delivers fried eggs, pork bacon, sausage, roasted portobello mushrooms, beans, focaccia, and tomato. The Italian Croque Madame leans into decadence with pan brioche, prosciutto cotto, fried egg, and a delicate truffle béchamel.

Other notable dishes include the Pork Pizza Sandwich, layered with smoked provola, chili jam, sautéed spinach, and pork bacon, and the Cucina Cornetto, a giant, golden croissant crowned with a trio of homemade gelati.

Cucina’s beverage menu has been thoughtfully refreshed for the summer, featuring nutrient-packed smoothies, cold-pressed juices, and invigorating wellness shots. Guests can indulge in blends like kale, avocado, and peach with oat milk, or a creamy combination of peanut butter, Nutella, and banana with coconut milk. For a revitalizing kick, options like the Antioxidant (apple, celery, chili) and Flu Fighter (ginger, lemon, honey) shots are available. Traditional Italian coffee, teas, and fresh juices round out the offerings, ensuring there’s something for every palate.

A Reunion of Culinary Minds

This summer also marks the return of two of Cucina’s original driving forces. Emanuele Rizzo steps into his new role as General Manager, reuniting with Head Chef Marco Deriu. Their collaboration signals a renewed energy at Cucina and a deepened commitment to the restaurant’s founding values: warm hospitality, honest food, and a sense of belonging.
