Enjoy the Reopening of Summersalt Beach Club
Summersalt are hosting an epic beach club experience and reopening party on the 14th October with live musicians including a DJ, dancers and violinists, plus amazing food from their Latin American menu, as well as drink offers. DJ Bona Fide will be pushing out melancholic shades of house, and will be accompanied by Darko De Jan and VICTHOR. The event is between midday and 9pm this Saturday and tickets start at AED 800 for a day pass (AED 400 credit for F&B).
Join New Moon Yoga at Blended Wellness
Gorgeous all-purpose spa at Blended Wellness on the Palm (next to Dukes Hotel) hosts classes for fitness including yoga and pilates, as well as their thermal spa, massage rooms and facials, and they’re also hosting a full moon yoga session with sound healing and meditation. On Friday 13th October from 7:30pm-9pm, tickets are AED 219.
Dine at New Emirati Homegrown Venue Quince
With stunning artistry founded by three decades of family legacy, Quince in Umm Suqeim is now open. With glorious high ceilings carved stone countertops, a superb open kitchen, an artsy vibe and overall charm, they’re serving up a mix of coffee, snack food and baked goods including the Smoked Beetroot and Salmon Croquette, or Succulent Beef Short Rib. The venue is the passion project of Emirati father and son duo Amer Al Tamimi and Abdulla Al Tamimi, who come from a solid background of design concepts, DecoArt and D&D Home in the UAE. Pop down to savour some authentic Emirati flavour.
Catch Karen Zoid at the Hard Rock Cafe
South African rock singing sensation Karen Zoid will be performing at the Hard Rock Cafe on Thursday. Zoid first came on to the music scene in 2000 and has created a following of loyal fans ever since. Famed for hits such as Zoid Generation and Aeroplane Jane, she’ll be appearing at the Hard Rock with guitarist Henry Steel. Tickets AED 199 early bird and AED 249 regular, on October 12th at Hard Rock Cafe in Festival City.
Rock on with Kiss at the Coca-Cola Arena
American rock band extraordinaire Kiss is heading over to the Coca-Cola Arena on Friday October 13th as part of their very last world tour. The UAE Is their only location for the tour throughout the Middle East, so rock fans from all over the Middle East can see original band members Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons, plus drummer Eric Singer and guitarist Tommy Thayer. Tickets start at AED 295 on Friday 13th October.
