We were lucky to be one of the first to experience a pawesome petcation at Jumeirah Zabeel Saray, where luxury and pet-friendly hospitality intertwine to create an unforgettable experience for both human guests and their beloved furry companions. From the moment we valeted the car at Jumeirah Zabeel Saray, with our toy poodle Kiko in tow, it was evident that this hotel prides itself on extending a warm welcome not only to its human guests but also to their furry counterparts. One of the highlights of our petcation was the opportunity to have brunch at Zenzi Beach, an insta-worthy oasisOverlooking the tranquil waters of the Palm, Zenzi Beach provided the perfect backdrop for a day of relaxation and indulgence. With a dedicated dog park located nearby, Kiko had the freedom to roam and play to his heart’s content while we soaked up the sun and savoured the breathtaking views. The boho-chic décor and relaxed vibe of Zenzi Beach provided the perfect setting for creating cherished memories with our furry friend.

We began with a selection of sharing-style starters that quickly became the standout course of the meal. The seafood platter showcased the freshest ingredients sourced from local waters. From succulent Omani lobster to plump Mediterranean prawns, briny Manila clams, zesty ceviche, and creamy Dibba Bay oysters, each bite transported us to coastal paradise. The kale salad, a vibrant medley of flavours and textures, featured a delightful combination of Manchego cheese, candied walnuts, crisp green apple, sweet goji berries, and a drizzle of truffle vinaigrette. And let’s not forget the baby squid, tender and flavourful, served with a hint of spice.

For mains, we were spoiled for choice with an array of mouthwatering options that celebrated the rich culinary heritage of South America. The Chuletas De Borrego, a succulent lamb chop served with velvety aubergine puree, fluffy quinoa, and aromatic garlic flakes, was a symphony of flavours and equally impressive was the Bife De Ancho, a perfectly cooked Argentinian ribeye adorned with adobo spices, peppery rocket leaves, and a generous drizzle of chimichurri sauce.
