Food, Glorious Food – Hit up The Dubai Food Festival this Weekend
The inaugural weekend extravaganza is now hosted at Sky Dive Dubai and features live cooking demonstrations, celebrity appearances, and tons of opportunities to drink and dine.
Dubai’s highly anticipated celebration of gastronomy, Taste of Dubai in partnership with Philips, is set to kick off this weekend, running from Friday, February 23rd, to Sunday, February 25th. While the event’s location has shifted from its usual Media City Amphitheatre venue to the scenic lawns of Skydive Dubai, visitors can still anticipate a spectacular lineup featuring celebrity chefs, locally renowned restaurants, and family-friendly activities.
The three-day extravaganza promises pop-ups from the city’s most acclaimed eateries, an unprecedented roster of celebrity chefs, enhanced musical performances, and a variety of licensed outlets. With the culinary scene taking centre stage, attendees are encouraged to plan their itineraries and secure tickets for a weekend filled with delectable delights.
Taste of Dubai in partnership with Philips places a strong emphasis on the culinary experience, bringing together 16 of Dubai’s finest restaurants to showcase the city’s diverse and vibrant food scene. Each participating restaurant will present a curated menu comprising three to five “taster” size dishes, allowing attendees to traverse the impressive array of offerings and choose their favourites along the way. In a nod to inclusivity, each restaurant will include at least one vegetarian option and one kid-friendly dish, ensuring a delightful experience for everyone.
The confirmed participating restaurants include:
- Akira Back
- Atrangi by Ritu Dalmia
