Screenings take place on the weekend and although there is no charge for the entertainment there is a Dhs10 fee for getting into the park. Compared to your regular Cinema ticket which can go from Dhs35 to 200 it’s a bargain by any account. Showings tend to be Disney and Pixar like so take some snacks, relax and chuckle away.

Zaya Nurai Island

Saadiyat Island is stunning place of natural beauty and Zaya Nurai Island is a notch above that. No more than a few minutes by boat (already feels like a movie) you can enjoy outdoor cinema at the Oasis lounge. As its part of the resort you do need a day pass if you are not staying. May sound a little extragent to go all this way however as part of a short (or long) stay it makes complete sense. As for the showings give them a call to see what’s screening. If you haven’t heard of Bab Al Nojoum is a campsite so you do need to be a guest. That being said tents can be found for a wallet friendly Dhs190. Bab Al Nojoum combine a camping experience with outdoor cinema for a total back to basics feel. Screening take place Thursday to Saturday and the campsite is popular so do call ahead 02 691 0222
